This text presents a summary of the work of the educational, scientific and methodological seminar "Theories and Practices of Applied Cultural Research" (February 13, 2023 at the MAU "Dom Kino", Krasnoyarsk), organized by the Department of Cultural Studies and Art Studies of the Humanitarian Institute of the Siberian Federal University. The seminar was devoted to the presentation of topical art studies in accordance with memorable dates for the world of culture and art: 1) 395 years since the birth of the writer Charles Perrault; 2) 160 years since the birth of theater director K.S. Stanislavsky; 3) 140 years since the birth of the artist P.N. Filonova; 4) 175 years since the birth of the artist V.I. Surikov, the seminar also included the development of Game studies at the Siberian Federal University, which is why the seminar program included the direction “40 years of the Nintendo Entertainment System game console”.
