The Theory of Blended Learning in Modern China: Trends of Future Development. Part 1
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article analyzes the modern theory of blended learning, which is developing today in the People's Republic of China. The theories, methods, and strategies of blended learning are explored as the most effective conceptual foundations of modern educational practices. Blended learning is seen as the integration and merging of face-to-face learning and learning using modern technologies. The main form of education of the future will be continuous learning based on blended learning practices. Education is based both on taking into account the universal common characteristics of students and on the basis of their individual qualities. Full-time classroom education, which arose in industrial society, is based on the universal general qualities of students. When education becomes continuous, the individualized characteristics of students are also important. It is on this fundamental psychological feature that the theory and practice of blended learning is based. One of the most promising tools for analyzing the results of blended learning is Rain Classroom: based on Big Data, constant analytics of the current state of the educational process is made. The tool was developed at Tsinghua University (China).
