The article presents an analysis of Alexander Nevsky's images in literary works in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. The purpose of the study was to reveal how the image of Alexander Nevsky changed in literary works of the mid-20th century. For this purpose, an analysis and comparison of the most famous works available in the public domain was carried out. As a result of the study, 3 main images were identified for each of the time periods: a hero warrior, a ruler, and a historical figure. The reasons for the formation of such images are also given.
