Abstract (English):
The text presents the results of the scientific seminar of the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History of the Humanities Institute of the Siberian Federal University, dedicated to the work of the great Italian sculptor, painter and architect Michelangelo Buonarroti. The main conclusions of the research devoted to the study of the series of sculptures "Slaves" in the artist's work are presented in a thesis; the continuation of the sculptor's traditions in modern plastic art; the study of the compositional formulas of the fresco "The Last Judgment" in the Sistine Chapel; the transformation of the meanings of Michelangelo's works in modern mass culture; the image of Michelangelo in cinematography.
