Статья посвящена малоизученной теме не только в отечественном научном поле, но и мало представленной в научных статьях и монографиях за рубежом. Культ Саната-Муэрте достаточно широко известен благодаря распространению его образов и описанию ритуальных практик в сети Интернет, но его непосредственное изучение значительно затруднено в силу сложной социальной обстановки в Мексике, где он зародился и практиковался изначально среди представителей маргинальных слоев общества. В статье предпринята попытка дать описание некоторых ритуальных практик этого мексиканского культа, приобретающего черты транснационального, пользующегося популярностью во всем мире.

The article is devoted to a little-studied topic not only in the domestic scientific field, but also little represented in scientific articles and monographs abroad. The cult of Santa Muerte is quite widely known due to the dissemination of its images and descriptions of ritual practices on the Internet, but its direct study is significantly difficult due to the complex social situation in Mexico, where it originated and was initially practiced among representatives of marginalized sections of society. The article attempts to describe some of the ritual practices of this Mexican cult, which is acquiring transnational features and is popular all over the world.
